In connection with “The Environment Day 2016” a special assembly was conducted on 6th June 2016, Monday to raise global awareness and to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. The Chief Guest Mrs. Niya Celine , Agricultural Officer of Thrikkovilvattom Grama Panchayat inaugurated the function. The Principal Mr. Abdurahiman P presided the function and Vice Principal Mrs. Mini K Pillai felicitated the occasion. Students and staff participated in plantation drives to make the surroundings green. To mark the day the students and teachers also distributed saplings to the public at the Palathara Junction to give them an awareness about the importance of The Environment Day.
