The theme for World Environment Day 2018 was “Beat Plastic Pollution”. The Message is to reject single use of Plastic. Oxford School Celebrated environment day on 5th June, the occasion was presided by the principal Dr. Sajid Ali who delivered an inspiring speech to create awareness for the protection of our environment. Our Honorable chief guest Mrs. Rejina Jacob, the Agricultural Officer enlightened the students to focus on preserving the environment. A Memento was handed over to the chief guest by the principal. The Chief Guest planted a sapling at the school which was followed by many students. Various activities like speech, bulletin board competition took place. Demonstration for the reuse of plastic was conducted to consider how to reduce the heavy burden of plastic Pollution.
