World Food Day 2016-17
A Deed of kindness shown by the The Oxford School students of Kollam, our World Food Day. The students of Grade VIII, IX & X visited Assissi Home for the Aged [Nithyasahaya Matha , Kottiyam]. The young hearts were instilled by values of caring and sharing , care and concern for the elders. They had a memorable experience interacting with the elderly inmates, sharing their retrospection of past happiness, emotional feeling and joy. The students carried packets of homemade food, entertained the inmates by singing songs and in turn the host too exhibited their hidden talents telling stories, riddles and tongue twisters .Tears felled in each eye as they bid adieu to each others. Teachers Mrs. Anjana S, Mrs. Sandhya T S & Mrs. Simi Aman accompanied the students.
