The Oxford School , Kollam , honoured our democracy by celebrating “ The Indian Constitution Day “ on 26th November 2015 . A special assembly was conducted in the school Quadrangle at 3 : 00 p.m. The programme started with a prayer by Master.Yahiya Abdul Gafoor. Keynote address was delivered by Mrs.Anitha kumary C.R , Headmistress who briefed on when and who drafted the constitution of India. Later Mr. Abdurahiman P, the Principal of the school addressed the assembly by giving an awareness to the students on the significance and aim of the constitution in our country. He led the school in taking the pledge by reciting the Preamble to the constitution by instilling a sense of patriotism and giving a sense of pride to be a part of our nation. ‘A Poster designing competition’ was held in the morning section. The winners were declared and awarded certificate of appreciation from the school which was distributed by the Principal.
