The Department of Arabic at The Oxford School, Kollam celebrated THARTHEEL-2020 from 11th Dec. to 18th Dec. 2020 in connection with World Arabic Language Day (Dec.18) aiming to give an exposure to the talents of our students in the international language.
World Arabic Language Day was established by UNESCO and was celebrated every year on 18 December since 2012. The Arabic language is considered to be one of the oldest and the most widely spoken in the world. The Arabic language is a pillar of the cultural diversity of humanity.
Necessity or Luxury? is the theme of World Arabic Language Day celebration in 2020.’ The theme emphasizes the need for the preservation of the language.
