The humongous effort by the Oxford School kollam to host the sixth Sahodaya Football match was praise worthy. On 23 and 24th November 2017, the participation of sixteen schools from different districts could experience the grace of the great sports ground of the school. In the final match against TKMPCS ,The Oxford School sent their opponents packing with a powerful victory of (3-0) retained their Championship Cup for the 6th consecutive year . In the valedictory function The Principal Mr. Abdurahiman the Principal of the school with great pride and warmth welcomed each and everyone teemed in the valedictory function. The President Venad Sahodaya Mr. K.K.Shajahan, presided over the function; The chief guest Mr. Javahar Janard ,The Assistant Commissioner of Police, after his encouraging speech distributed the prizes for the best player, Master Bilal and the top scorer Master Mohammed Saheen. The Vice Principal of the School Mrs Mini .k. Pillai in her vote of thanks expounded her sincere regards to the director of the physical education department, Mr. Melbinson Toby for his tedious efforts behind all success.
