Annual School Tour was organized for the students of Grade IX, X, XI & XII to Wayanad & Ooty for 5 days from 26th November 2019 to 30th November 2019. The students were energized, excited and thrilled in anticipation of fresh perspectives and informal environments. The most fun and pleasant time is on the transportation from one city to another. It allows students to witness things from a fresh perspective, while trying to learn more about new situations in an informal environment.
Beside the trip being fulfilled, it provided the students to demonstrate some of the virtues such as responsibility, cooperation, tolerance, concern for others, sharing, outside the confines of the school and away from the close supervision of their parents and teachers.
Trekking to Edackal caves, boat trip to Kuruva island, Pazhassi tomb and Banasura Sagar Dam were the chief attractions of the trip in Wayanad. Visits to the botanical Gardens in the Ooty showcased the efforts made to revive and sustain a green planet.
The excitement of shopping too was provided on their trip. It was a treat to see students bargain and calculate to strike a good deal.
The trip was a success as it brought out qualities in the students that otherwise not seen in the school.
