Farm visits provide a perfect opportunity for students to use all of their senses to learn, the more they can touch, feel, smell, and taste the things that they are learning about, the more deeply they will understand and remember what they learn. Keeping in view the above, The Oxford Tender care visited farm on 16th October 2015. Children were happy to see farm animals like cows, sheep, ducks, goats, etc. They were excited to see ducks swimming in the pond. As they walked through the farm students saw various fruits and vegetables being grown like papaya, banana, chilly, ginger, lady’s finger, pumpkin etc. The experience offered by Mr. Francis Xavier sir who took the students to show all the animals, allowed them to observe the animals in their natural habitat, asked lots of questions. It was indeed a great hands-on learning experience for the children.
