The Duty of Youth is to Challenge Corruption- Vigilance Awareness Week @ TOSK

The Oxford School, Kollam observed the Vigilance Awareness Week from 28th October to 2nd November, 2019 to create awareness about the role of preventive vigilance in combating corruption and enhancing accountability at various levels. The theme for this year was “‘Integrity – A way of life”.

A special assembly was conducted to mark the vigilance awareness week and inculcate a strong sense of ethics in the students. An oath was also administered to uphold high standards of honesty and integrity at all times and support the fight against corruption. Walkathon was organized for the students of class VI to VIII. Students of class VI to IX showed their concern about the theme by expressing themselves on posters. Apart from this a seminar was conducted for the students of class IX & XI by Mr. Ajaynath from the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau, Kollam to promote transparency, probity and integrity in public life. Principal Dr. Sajid Ali encouraged all the students to become vigilant responsible citizens of India in the future. The school whole hearted joined the movement of creating awareness among students regarding corruption as a social evil.
