‘A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill love for learning’
Teachers’ day was celebrated virtually by The Oxford School, Kollam, amid the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, but this has not dampened the enthusiasm among students despite limitations.
The celebration started with the special assembly by our teachers which was a great surprise to all the students. Vice Principal Mrs. Mini K Pillai delivered the Inaugural address. Principal, Mr. Mammikutty T.V addressed all the teachers, students and parents with his inspiring words. He thanked all the teachers for their diligence, sincerity and hard work.
A surprise video by the students and parents of Grade II for all the teachers were screened during the live event. Former students shared their memories and thanked all the teachers for their support they have provided to them. The assembly came to an end with Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Ameena Nazir (HOS-KG). It was followed by Student- Teacher program were the senior students conducted classes for junior students.
Apart from the Live celebration the students also prepared Greeting Cards for their teachers on the special day.
