On July 5th 2017 The Oxford School Kollam administered The Parliament Election. Polling commenced at 9.30 am. The students from GradeIV to XII were given the privilege to cast their votes to elect their student representatives for specified posts viz., Head Boy, Head Girl, Ministers and Deputy Ministers. The polling was conducted in various booths without disturbing the regular classes. Live commentary on the results were announced occasionally. The whole event was systemized orderly as a miniature of Indian Parliament Election. Members of the Election Committee collectively co-ordinated the election process; appointing Miss. Femina of XII A as The Chief Election commissioner assisted by Master. Vishak R Nair of XI C. Master. Akash Stephen of grade XII B was elected as The Head Boy, Miss.Farheen Riyas Grade XII C as The Head Girl. Principal Mr. Abdu Rahiman. P congratulated the winners; further stated that the elected Torch- bearers will be endowed with duties and responsibilities in future.
