21st November 2020 marks the 50th death anniversary of the first Asian Nobel laureate in physics, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, commonly known as CV Raman.
He made our Nation proud with the discovery of the ‘Raman effect’, a groundbreaking work in the field of light scattering. His unmatched contributions in the field of science shall continue to inspire generations.
