The Oxford School Kollam celebrated India’s 70th Independence Day in a befitting manner. After hoisting the national flag, the Vice Principal Mrs. Mini. K. Pillai , in her message reiterated the importance of being good citizens and working together for the development of our nation. The head boy, Muhammed Yaseen reminded that it was an occasion to remember and revere the freedom fighters who won freedom for India. The Oxford kids stole the show by dressing as famous national leaders and addressing the gathering. House wise competitions were held for national anthem and patriotic songs. The students went home feeling proud to be Indians
