Observation of world environment day on 5th june 2012 became remarkable by planting saplings. Mr. Gopalakrishna Paniker, in his inaugural address highlighted the selfish motive of man leads to heartless destruction of forests, illicit felling of trees and greedy human settlements. The poems recited by students on the beauty of nature, its destruction and the future of forests provided an insight to the audience. In this connection, a poster presentation was also held.
