The Oxford School, Kollam organised a Virtual English Fest- ‘Carpe Diem’ to encourage students understanding and love for English literature, improve written and spoken expression and to inculcate the habit of reading in the students.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Abdullah Khan Author, who is the author of the best seller of ‘Patna Blues’. In his key note address, he emphasized on nurturing and treasuring the students in a manner that leads them into the realms of fresh discoveries.
To make the experience attractive and enjoyable for the new generation, a series of activities were held which evolved from the objectives of the program such as to provide opportunities for students to showcase their God’s endowed talents and skills in communicating in the English language.
Though English Fest has come to an end, in our hearts we will always celebrate this language by continuously striving towards making it more enjoyable.
