Oxfordians had a field trip to Milma Dairy situated at Thevally, Kollam on November 1st, 2019. During the Milma Visit, the students got a chance to watch the pasteurization of milk, and production unit of ghee, peda, butter milk, sip up etc. The officials of Milma Dairy also explained the journey of milk from the farmers to the final packed milk in cities. Processing equipment and units such as curd processing container, incubator, cold storage rooms and Effluent Treatment Plant were also shown to the students. The field trip was an eye opener for the students, as they came to know the industrial standards.
